Turn right for Treowen House (signed) midway between Jingle Street and Dingestow.

The top pool is at the bottom of the field below Treowen House. Lower pool is accessed through the woods. Be careful with car parking – best on the side closer to the pools as it can get very muddy and not difficult to get your car stuck.

There have been very few fish caught in the lower pool. The reason for this is uncertain, and is being investigated by the Environment Agency.

The top pool is a good beginner’s pool has been fishing well with a very large number of Rudd being caught on bread or sweetcorn. There is quite a lot of weed there which can make fishing challenging.
