Location: – 10 miles North West of Monmouth Town.

Take the B4233 out of Monmouth, fork right onto the B4347 at Rockfield. Continue for about 6 miles and through Newcastle. Take sharp left at T junction, sign posted “Cross Ash” and at the next T junction take left onto B4521. Ponds and car park in half mile on the left, at the black & white “Cross Ash” sign.

Both ponds made about eight years ago and each stocked with good size Tench, Common Carp and Crucian Carp plus some “Gold Fish” and any natural breeding fish, evidence of fry seen in the water.

The larger pond is about the size of the smaller pond at Treowen.

Other facilities on site include easy access to the ponds, flush toilets and good parking.

The fishing for MADAS Members is not “EXCLUSIVE” and may be shared during your visit with other “Day Ticket” anglers.

Fishing is free to club members; Club membership card to be presented at the reception office where your number will be noted.

The normal day fishing charge is £6.00 and this will be charged if you do not have a membership card to show.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The fishing is recommended as safe for families to enjoy and camping is available.

Fishing restrictions: Only use Barbless Books and no Dog Meat Baits.
